Bring the following items with you when you enter FFB. If you do not have some or all of the items listed, we will help you get them, if possible. If you are leaving incarceration, we will provide a starter kit of basic personal hygiene products. Community resources are available for clothing.

Athens is 61 miles northeast of Atlanta and home of the University of Georgia, the nation's first state chartered university. Southeastern Stages, 220 W. Broad Street, provides regular scheduled bus service between Athens and Atlanta as well as other Georgia cities. Their Athens phone number is 706-549-2255. If you are arriving by bus, please let us know and Ms. Lewis or a staff or board member will be glad to transport you from the bus station to the residence. We do not pay for travel to Athens to enter the residence or for travel when you exit FFB.
FFB accepts applications and residents from Georgia and all other states. If you would like an application, please use the message area at the top of the page and we will email you an application. You may fill out the application online and email it back to us, or we can mail you a hard copy of the application to fill out by hand and mail back to us. Please mail applications to:
